Easy Heat Pellets

(274 votes)

Easy Heat premium grade wood fuel pellets are made from 100% wood created by lumber industry by-products. This makes our pellets a recycled source of energy since the wood we use to make them would otherwise end up in landfills. And because they are a clean biomass energy source, they are better for the environment than burning fossil fuels like natural gas, oil, and coal.

When you use Easy Heat, you're using the best wood fuel pellets available on the market today. Our 100% wood formulation produces high BTUs, low ash, and drastic savings in energy usage and heating costs. We employ exacting quality control measures throughout our production process, including ash and fines content testing, to ensure that every bag of our wood fuel pellets live up to their "premium grade" name and perform as promised.

I purchased one ton of your prem. wood pellets for my heated barn witch I have been heating for 6 years now. I clean my stove on a regular program. I have found that with your pellets, I have to set the heat at twice the setting to get the same amount of heat! They also burn with about twice the amount of soot & ashes as other wood pellets. I am very disappointed with this product & will pay more for hardwood pellets from another dealer. Thank you, Neal Fish PS Why will your site not take my comment ???

these are NOT "Premium" Grade. These pellets burn themselves out on the low setting. I rely on a high grade pellet to keep my stove running full time as it is my only heat source. I will never buy these again . I thought they were low priced and high quality . you get what you pay for .. Be=arefoot pellets are the ONLY way to ge.

Got a few bag of easy heat pellets early this season my England stove jamed. found metal in the auger. Thought it just a mistake on the factory, picked up 2 tons and after 30 bags more jam again from metal. Stay away from them. Sent a E-mail with pics. Waiting to see if they get back with me

    Heating with a Whitfield
(pre Lennox),bought a ton of this product. Really wish I had not. High ash, extremely high sawdust, pellets range mostly 1/4 inch in size to some I found 2 inches. Actually had a dust fire in the chute. Stove has become high maintenance. I have gone from cleaning once a week while burning Somerset, to daily cleaning with not so Easy Heat. The price at $159.00 a ton was great but in my case did not work for me and my Whitfield stove.

my experience with the easy heat brand is that they plugged the auger system on a napoleon fs45. i have also heard of others finding foreign objects in their bags such as metal piece and rubber tubing.

I have a Lopi Leyden stove which is going on it's third season using America Wood Fiber pellets. My dealer is no longer carrying pellets so I am trying Easy Heat pellets.I did the usual complete clean out of the stove adding to that I normally clean the stove every three or four days for better burn. The Easy Heat pellets have a strong pine smell upon opening the bag and seem to leave more ash in the stove. There is a fair amount of saw dust in the bag as well.I have used wood stove for years but my experience with pellets is limited.

Pellet prices are really high this year for sure. I live in Geauga county and here are some prices I have seen per ton:
    Easy Heat - $178 to $190
    Country Boy - $201
    Somerset - $230
    AWF - $225
    Hamer - $257
    Pro-Pellet - $215

I have tried American Wood Fiber (AWF), Hamer and Somerset brands. Best so far have been the Somerset, but could not find them this year close by and for a good price. I paid $165 last year for Somerset. I am giving Easy Heat a try, see they have mixed reviews so far. Just got them this weekend and noticed a strong Pine Smell, so curious % softwood vs. hardwood. I will keep everyone posted.

I have not had much luck with the company either..

Found some foreign material in the pellets. Had pics tond was willing to send samples back to Mill....

Emailed the Mill and they assured me that therr was nothing other than wood??? I still disagree.

Low Heat, High Ash, High Fines (really high), and smell like plastic?

Tried them in 3 stoves. Quad CB 1200, Englander 25-PDV, and a Fahrenheit Endurance. None had super results.

They are a local plant and its the only reason I tried them. Until there Quality Control gets better, I will not buy any.

Unfortunately this is no glowing review, but it is what it is and in no way exaggerated or "over the top" & I clean our US Stove pellet stove weekly...
Bought 4 tons of this brand and they are by far the worst we have ever used. The sawdust accumulated from each bag is almost 2 lbs and has clogged up out pellet stove on many occasions since Oct. We had to start using a colander on the first ton & collected over 50 lbs of sawdust. The pellets have been less than a half inch on all but about 15 bags in the 2 tons we have used so far. I have had zero luck from the company and am very dis-satisfied with their product.
