We have a Quadrafire Mt. Vernon insert that is a really great stove. This is the fourth year that we are burning New England pellets exclusively, and it will be the last. The difference in these pellets this year is extremely awful. The lack of heat and the incredible amount of ash is astounding. We started burning in late October with 4 1/2 tons on hand and at the rate they are burning up, we will not make it through the end of February. We normally would have almost a ton left over at the end of the season. Certainly not the pellets we used to get and we won't gamble on them again.

I have a Harman P68, I have burned New England Pellets for the past three years. This year these pellets are the worst. I am gettling clinkers in the burn pot, lots and lots of ash, and the glass is always dirtly. I burned a couple of bags of barefoot just to make sure it was the crappy pellets and not the stove. Barefoot burned great, lots of heat, no clinkers to speak of and low ash. I will not buy New England Pellets again.

I have a harman and have always burnt Barefoot and loved them. I let my neighbor talk me into ordering a ton of these last year in order to split the delivery cost. We only used a few bags to get us through a few chilly spring evening and did not start to seriously burn them until this fall. Low heat output, burns dirty, klinkers which I never had and I need to clean the stove 2 - 3 more often. I will not order these again.

I have 2 Englander stoves and a Whitfield, unfortunately I could not find an online pellet review when I needed my annual 6 tons. (September) Bought New Engenders, for the first time in four or 5 years. Very disappointed, they are burning very dirty and seem to really lack the BTU output. The ash is so excessive that we need to shut it down every 10-12 hours to vacuum out the burning chambers. I won't be buying these again. My best results have been Barefoot (rarely available here) and Green Team.

I found this pellet jams my auger and shuts down the stove. Has anybody else had this problem or could there be a problem with my stove?

Lowes shipment this fall is not that good. Darker color that earlier this year, and lots of clinkers that need to be broken up every 8 hrs (like a large charcoal brick). Still working on air settings to resolve this issue, would not recommend them as I just got 2 tons. Stove is Whitfield WP4 Quest. will call manufacturer to get their input as something changed since April's batch.

Just finished burning 10 bags of New England Wood pellets in my P38 Harman stove.

While these pellets produced sufficient heat, they did also produce large amounts of grainy particles in the pot blocking many of the vents. Cleaning of the pot every hour or so was necessary to prevent too much of a buildup.

I do run the stove at a med heat setting and clean the stove and pot each morning before re-starting the fire.

I would not purchase these pellets again.

I just began using my new Quadrafire insert. I've tried a few different brands. I'm finding these NE pellets burning the hottest but also show the most residue on the glass. When using the other brands that are strictly hardwood the flame and heat were almost half. So I'm purchased a ton of these for our weekend home in Upstate NY.

I'm honestly not sure about last year's run, but I ordered 3 tons of these this year (9/2013) and mid October they are burning so hot in comparison to the ultra-premium brands I bought last year that I'm more than happy (in my old Harman P38).

    Very happy with my purchase.

Enviro Evolution is the stove that I have used these pellet's in.
This year I have found a big difference in these pellet's and they burn not as hot
    and much more dirty burn.
I contacted company and she did get back to me said they would run a test sample
from the batch I have and I just feel that I will not get an honest outcome so I let her
know I will not buy them again......
I guess you get what you pay for but these were once a good buy and have gone
down hill and to me they are not a premium pellet.
