Hello, I have a quadra fire1200 insert that I clean fully when I change woos pellets, I tried inferno pellets a few years ago and they sucked big time.
So this year with the so called wood pellet shortage, like the so called oil shortage, which was brought on by greed of both of the above.
So anyhow it gave me a chance to try the inferno gold, and what gem it was to try, lots of heat clean burning and my glass was kept clean, hardly no ash.
So if your looking for a good pellet at a dam good price try a few bags and the hell with the over priced pellets.

Brought 6 tons of your pellets. Since 1992 have used New England Pellets. When the shortage came last spring I got a bag of your pellets. Liked the way they burned so this year when Hamshaw Lumber of Keene had there sale I got the six ton. They were delivered. now it came time to put them on the porch. Your bagging of these pellets sucks. Your sealer needs something done to it. Had 5 bags blown up. ,3 bags seals broke as we put them on my porch. could keep these bags ,some pellets lost. Brought others back to store ,they exchanged them. didn't have to do this with other pellets, they have a great bagging thing. Hope you can fix this problem. Still have 2 ton to open .

older inferno pellets from rhode island (2012) were horrible. very little heat and very very dirty. we actually contacted the company and were re-imbursed the full amount of our purchase (over 600.00) and we were allowed to keep the pellets. i've heard the new infrerno gold are being manufacturered somewhere else, not in rhode island

I bought two tons of Inferno pellets a couple of years ago and were the worst pellets I ever used. They would be great in the summer to air condition my house. They must be ice cubes in pellet form. Wouldn't take any more of these even if they were free. Had to clean my stove at least once a day and sometimes twice. I burned them in a Cornflame stove. Couldn't even melt butter on the stove.

I don't understand how the reviews can be so different. Some people love 'em some people hate 'em. I used to think it was from batch to batch getting a different mix of source materials and sold under the same brand. Now I'm starting to think that it is more a matter of your particular stove. I lucked out and got some Inferno pellets at Lowes Concord NH 3/9/2014 during a pellet shortage. Someone was returning tons so I was concerned about what I might be getting. What a pleasant surprise when I starting burning these. They burn hotter than anything else I have tried so far, (except maybe the same as Cubex) allowing me to slow down the feed rate, and the glass is staying clean. I'm only on my second bag so I don't have long term information. I usually shut it down for a quick cleaning daily but I skipped it today. I have an older Lopi Pioneer I bought used, so it's a top feeder. It is piped into a central chimney in an old home where a wood stove used to be.

You get what you pay for Period. This is G-Lopes getting rid or His waste from his transfer station. This is why they smell like Plastic and other matter in each pellet. Burn like crap and twice as fast. Just now Robert Kraft has his hands in it . So stay tuned

these pellets produce decent heat if you dont mind cleaning your stove once a weak. i have burned some very high quality pellets before living in vermont and i would never buy these againg unless there were no other options.
