Left large black bricks in my sph55 stove and plugged up everything. The pellits don't smell like wood but rather plastic and petroleum products. These pellets should be banned.......I normally run green supreme, but Lowes ran out.

Worst pellets I've ever purchased! Bought 4 tons.
The statement on the bag claims to have low ash content, which I s a false statement. Excessive amounts of ash and several times per day, I have to remove the lava rock type chucks from the burn pot that causes airflow restrictions. For a premium hardwood, it burns exceedly fast. If this is premium quality as stated on the bag, I would like to know what your definition of quality is? These pellts are poor quality.
    Will never recommend!

Never Again. Bought 4 tons of this shit and it only leaves big clinker build up and have to down the stove daily. Only bought this toxic shit because I have trust in Eldredge Hardware in York Me to have quality material, probably toxic waste and we are getting rid of it for them. Sending a bag to the Maine state Crime Lab to see. Thanx Skip

These are the best pellets I've used. Just got my englander in sept.with a ton of freedom fuel and wasn't burning right so I went to big y to try there inferno and was the best. Burned off the soot off my glass and will never change. No doubt.

I have a Quad Fire Stove. THESE ARE THE ABSOLUTE WORST PETTETS I HAVE EVER BURNT IN MY STOVE! 2 bags the fire pot was 1/2 full of SOMETHING I have never seen before! 3 bags left and have a mind to throw them away! Land fill probably won't take them. May consider them TOXIC! STAY AWAY FROM INFERNO PELLETS. My own opinion!

I use a harman PB105 wood pellet boiler. This is the main heating source for my house. I generally buy pellets to last for 1 year when i buy pellets. Last year i bought 6 tons of inferno wood pellets. I am realizing this was a mistake. These pellets leave behind some strange thick black nearly 1/2 inch coating that is very hard. It comes off easy but i can only imagine that they must be using a lot of bonding agent or something. I have been burning wood pellets as a primary heating source since 2008. I have not seen pellets leave this sort of build up before. Normally there is just ash left behind. These also dont seem to ignite very well in the boiler. I need to manually start the fire quite often. If you want cheap these will work but they come with a price which is headaches and if you use pellets as a source of heating and hot water its not worth the savings.

I have an England 25PDVC stove. I have been burning pellets for 5 years now. Out of the 5 years I have tried many different brands of pellets. Out of all the brands I have tried. Inferno is at the top of my list. For being the worst pellets ever made. They give off low heat and high amounts of soot not ash. In a 12 hour period they form a clinker the size of a hockey puck. Which weight a little over a pound. This company has no quality control over their pellets. Many of the pellets are well over 1 1/2 inches and not uncommon to find many over 2 inches. I would not reccomend these pelets to anyone.

I have a Quadra-Fire fire place insert and have burned New England Wood Pellets since buying it 6 years ago. I was not happy with my last 4 ton purchase of NEWP for 2011-2012 heating season, so when they ran out I decided to try other brands. Unfortunately one of the brands I came across was Inferno Wood Pellets. I was shocked at how bad these pellets burned in my stove. I've heard other people talk about clinkers but never had them in my stove burning NEWP. After burning only 2 bags of Inferno Pellets I had to shut down my stove and chisel out the bottom half of my burn pot. The pot was so full of junk that it was making my stove vibrate badly and sounded like someone blowing over the top of a bottle, only much louder. I can't believe they get away with selling a product this bad. Stay away from these pellets! I would not put these in my stove again even if they were giving them away for free. Pellets were purchased at Lowes.

I am never buying inferno again. They break down and are dusty. The clog my upper auger at least 1x per day. Green Team is the same price and much better quality. It is a poor product.
