I have a Pel Pro pellet stove ... The Green Supreme Pellets have worked fine in my stove for years. This year I have had a problem with the quality of the pellet. Even though they still work in the stove, the issue I have had is that many bags have had pellets clumped together in the middle of the bag, and usually the bags that have this issue have been in the middle of the pile. The store where I purchase my pellets has has other customers with the same issue, and of course the store has made things right with the customers. I am wondering if at the time of production and packaging of the pellets there may have been a moisture issue. I had a bag last night that when I dumped it into the bin I found a clump about the size of a baseball. I also think this year the pellets are not as good heat producers, and they take very long time to light.

I have been burning wood pellets for ten years in my Breckwell p-2000 series pellet stove that is professionaly cleaned yearly and cleaned after every 25-30 bags burned and came across these pellets this year. Although they don't produce high heat, they don't have a lot of the dust in the bags that tend to clog a lot of stoves. Not the best but not the worst I've tried.

Burned a ton of Green supreme in November. Heat was on the low end of average, with lots of ash, and dust. Ash bin had to be emptied every 3 days where stove chow goes about 8 days with more heat. The GS had so much sawdust that the feed auger in my Harmon started to make a hi pitched noise that went away with Stove chow. I'll wont buy GS again unless I can't find anything else.

We've had a Traeger Pellet furnace since 1992 and this is 1st time we've had a problem with pellets, Green Supreme, jamming the cup that feeds to the auger. Almost purchased a new motor, glad we didn't as works fine with other pellets. We purchased 5 ton and are now in process of exchanging most, thank you Lowes for allowing this. We also have a pellet stove in garage which seems to accommodate these pellets as there is no cup system.

I purchased 4 ton of Green Supreme this year because I had fairly good results last year. The pellets this year are horrible. I have a 2008hard quadrifire insert. I am cleaning the firepot every two or three days and cleaning the stove every other time I empty the pot. It is horrible! The firepot gets full of hard clumps and plugs the airholes. The flame is lazy and high. Do not buy these pellets!

They burn terribly...have to constantly clean the tray from the feeder. Very disappointed in this product that claims to burn "clean".

Bought a Ton from HD here in CT for $219/ton. A lot of ash and clinkers. I'm basically cleaning the stove every day. Heat output not good either. HD had a "super" premium pellet for like $260/ton which I'm going to try next. QuadraFire Castille Insert.
