Major Disappointment
The quality of Eagle Valley Pellets has gone downhill! They are garbage! The klinkers are ridiculous, we have to clean the stove out every day or every other day! The pellets are visibly dark and dirty looking compared to other brands. These are made in my hometown and what a disappointment the quality has become. Eagle Valley pellets are probably cheaper than other brands but they aren’t even worth that. Seems to me the company is more interested in selling pet bedding pellets overseas than putting out a good quality wood burning pellet. That’s pretty sad for those of us who want to support our local business and we get stuck with a poor quality product in return.

Eagle Valley sells junk sand-filled pellets
These are the worst pellets we have ever purchased. So stove clogging you can’t get through a bag of them without cleaning the entire stove and sweeping the chimney. How do this dirt-filled junk get rated “Premium”? These are not even fit for animal bedding – dark with dirt, all ash and clinkers and little heat. Fire smothers itself after a day and the stove must be cleaned out entirely.

Eagle valley fail pellets
Leaves behind what I call space alien poop. Have to clean burn pot every 12 hours, 2 years ago eagle valley was over a week before burn pot clean. Leaves behind a grainy pile of ‘black sand’ coated with glaze. A propane torch won’t burn it, does glow errily!

Not worth it; find a different brand
Garbage- not happy. Went from a pallet of Pinnacles last year to these and a HUGE difference; rep said they were the same, just bagged in the States- not so. Little heat, lots of ash no matter the settings.
