2 Types of EasyBlaze Pellets are available.
Summary
Sept 2017: The company just reached out to me asking if they can mail me out some bags of pellets! So I will have an update here soon. If I remember, these pellets were really good.
Oct 2017 – WOW! Here is a winner. This is a fantastic pellet! It burned real hot and real clean. Very low ash and all around a winner! One of my top pellets this year. I wish they were selling these up this way. HEY you drop feed stove owners, these pellets are for you. I was very impressed with the pellet size. They were almost all the same size which means a more consistent flame for you. Very, very nice pellet.

I’m totally excited that these pellets are now available up here in NH. They are the best!!!!

I rate these pellets at a 9/half out of 10..only due to lot of fines in the bag but, if your stove is not finicky or fussy, no problem.. fines burn up same as pellets.
I have a harman P61A so a “10” for Harman users..
excellent heat… light grey powdery ash just like good firs..no clinkers..
the super Premo’s in my expirience are next best pellets from douglas firs and
at lot less cost.. 80-100.00 less..
I paid 249.00 and scooped up 4 tons this winter. Firs are around 350.00 or more here…. Don’t need them… get these great softwoods without even testing a bag.. Trust me!!!
I’m always on the look out for low ash, high heat pellets. I found out any company can say their pellets are “premium” but it’s not always true. I don’t buy any pellets with 1% ash. Never! I heard about these and called the company for the nearest dealer and bought one bag to test. I love these pellets! LOW ash and high heat! They do cost a tad more than the trash pellets but well worth it in the long run. Stop buying trash pellets from the big stores! Take care of your stove and it will take care of you. Try a bag! You’ll agree with me and the others.
Are these the Super Premium Softwood or the Premium Hard/Softwood Blend?
Found these pellets locally for 250/ton. Tried 10 bags to start just to be sure, and I love them. Immediately ordered a ton to finish off the season. They burn clean, not nearly the amount of clinkers or sawdust as with the BTUetiful douglas fir softwoods I was using and they seem to burn hotter than them as well. I will be buying these for next season as well.
It is October, I have burned 2 bags due to the cold nights… So far, this pellet is working excellent. The pellets are small for faster burning, and allows for higher heat.. It doesnt leave clinkers in your pot..
Very nice burn this year, impressed more than last year.
I’m using a Harman and burned 3 tons of Easy Blaze last year. They burned very well. They were better than the New England pellets I burned previously. Hoping to buy more.

We bought a ton last year when the pellets we normally buy(American Wood Fibers) wasnt available. Took a gamble. They worked so well we had 3 ton delivered this summer and our stove(Environ E3) is cranking! I will buy again!
I have a Castle Serenity Stove, and I have been experimenting with the different pellets available from my local Ace hardware store.
My first couple bags of easyblaze do burn well – but I agree with some of the other posters that there is a LOT of sawdust in the bag. I’m concerned about buying more because I’m not sure what that amount of sawdust will do to my auger.
I have also used Lignetics and O’Malleys:
Lignetics seemed very much in the middle. Not as expensive as the easyblaze, and not much dust / sawdust, ash seems to be about in the middle.
O’Malleys were horrible – won’t buy them again. They were the cheapest, but also the dirtiest.
Worst pellets we have ever tried. There is so much sawdust in the bag that we have to remove the auger and clean it out every other day. Never had this problem with any other pellet we tried. That being said, when they are burning, they burn well. It is a shame they are not compatible with our stove. Going to try screening the 1/2 ton we have left before burning and see if that makes a difference.
