Only wood that makes pellets with an ash content under one percent makes it into production. The resulting pellet produces on average 8,500 BTUs per pound. Energex S/H Blend - not my favorite
Bought 4 bags of Energex Hard/Soft blend to tide me over til this weekend*. Burned Wood & Sons softwood & Okie Platinums (red bag) earlier this season – Pros – fewer clinkers than Wood & Sons. Cons – Way more ash than Wood & Sons and Okie Platinum red bag, definitely not as hot as the other two.
* Bought Okie Platinum red bag yesterday to get me through April 2020.

Worth every penny. They burn clean, very hot, very efficient with very little ash. thank you Rella Coal for not selling the good stuff
