Summary
Nov: 2017 – These pellets absolutely did burn super hot. They seemed to be super dense with not much fines. I want to say that these are a southern yellow pine pellet. I could not find much info on online except to find out what the deal is. I had to clear out the burnpot in the morning but the heat was was nice! great pellet overall .

When I opened the bag and seen there were some pellets and the rest was saw dust and will never buy again. I mean never worst pellets on the market. Got them from Home Depot and they said you can return them. No you can come and pick them up. Well you know that would not happen. I can not even understand why you would produce a product like that and get a bad rap. But I guess it is now days all about the money!
Worst pellets I HAVE EVER USED, CANNOT WAIT UNTIL THEIR GONE.
Worst pellets I have ever used. The only kind Home Depot had so I bought 15 bags. Will never buy them again. They do not burn well, so many clinkers I have to shut down and clean out the pot every 12 hours!
After burning a different brand of hardwood pellets all winter, we had to buy the Freedom Fuel to get us through the last month or so of cold weather. We have not been happy with these pellets. They have a lot of dust and seem softer than our previous brand. There is a lot of coarse ash building up, and the most annoying part is that the pellets stick to the side of the hopper so the stove thinks it’s out of pellets. We have to open it up and manually stir the pellets so they will go into the feeder. It becomes a problem when we are away from home and the house gets cold.
The worst I ever bought than gid I only got 15 bags
By far the worse pellets we burned. I am just glad we purchased 2 bags to give them a try when we ran out of our pellets. There was so much sawdust that i immediately turned off our pellet stove to cool off and to vacuum all the sawdust. Very, very disappointed and will not purchase again
bought six bags of these to try and will never buy again. pellets were small and broke up very easily to small chunks. had to clean out every two days due to ash buildup. moderate heat. i have a osburn mf45 standalone.
These are the worst pellets I have ever used. Even the bags they come in are of a poor quality.
These pellets are garbage!!! Bag says that they are 100% pure wood fibers……NO!
I have corn kernels and pieces in the pellets! Tried to contact the company and no one answered the phone. Sent an email to Ken Simard at Freedom Fuel, read my email this morning, but of course….NO REPLY!
HORRIBLE!! My bags are 50% sawdust. And the other 50% is a half and half mixture of pellets and CORN!! The bags are cheap and are always busted at the store, but even though I pick out the ones that are not, I always end up with atleast 2 bags that have gotten moisture inside and solidified. Did I mention they are HORRIBLE!!!!!!! Dont waste your money! I am taking mine back today!!
