I have a piazzetta sabrina pellet stove. First year burning we have go e through 3 tons and many trial runs. Vermont (hottest and favorite but sells out quick) Maine softwood (1 ton ok heat but dirty and lots of ash) NEW ENGLAND 5 bags between deliveries never again) and now on a ton of lg’s. Great pellet for the money 290 a ton in February. Heat out put is great ash ok but keeps glass clean. No clunkers and surprisingly consistent size. I would consider this pellet in the future and recommend a trial run as each stove is different.
I’ve been burning pellets for two years now and love them. But the bags are getting heavy for a 73 year old guy. Have you given any thought of bagging in 20 pound bags for us feeble people?
I bought my Harman p-68 pellet stove 2yrs ago and have tried many pellets. Your I have found burn the best in my stove. However I am finding it difficult to get them when I need them. I live in Randolph Vt. and the closest dealer is in Montpelier. They will sell it by the ton but only allow me to get 10 bags at a time. Can you locate me another dealer close by?
I have a Savannah pellet stove and have burned the LG Granule pellets for the last few years. They have always been excellent pellets. So this year, I purchased 100 bags and much to my dismay, something has changed and I am getting chunks. I normally clean my stove every other day and now I have to clean it every day. I am so disappointed that something with these pellets has changed.
I purchased a Lopi AGP pellet stove for a new home last February. I started it Feb. 15 and used it as my only heat source for the remainder of the season. I did considerable research on this website and others before deciding on a pellet brand. a final decision was made to buy LG wood granules.I burned approximately 1.5 tons from mid Feb to the end of the heating season. Very pleased with the performance of both pellets and stove. Minimal work to keep the stove very clean and very good heat output. the pellets were purchased from Henry McManus in Barrington NH. Henry sells both pellets and coal at 464 Greenhill Rd in Barrington
Phone 603-335-3128. Current price is $269/ton for LG,s. He will deliver or haul your own.
Hope someone finds this useful. John
I burned 6 tons of granules LG last year. Pellets are good but the bags were defective, splitting at the seams causing a great deal of stress and mess. I would be sure bags are good before purchasing again. Worst pellet experience in 7 years of burning.
Where can I purchase these pellets . The local store sells them for 7.95 a bag and I think I should get them somewhere else for less.
I live in Canada and buy 3 tons each year along with 4 buddies in the village where we live. This years price up here from my supplier is $4.25 a bag. Clean my Harman P68 stove each week and major clean after burning 1 ton. Ash content is low. Last year I tried hardwood pellets paid .65 a bag more, less ash but no difference in heat. Have been using LG for 7 years.
I am using a stove for the first time this year – harman accentra insert. It is heating my 2500 sq ft house by itself and the LG pellets have been great. I got a few bags to try and after 3 bags my stove has less than half the amount of ash from a single bag of green team from lowes. SO far I am impressed and will be buying several tons of these for next year!
I burn the LG pellets in an Englander 25V for supplemental heat for our Oil. I burn about 3 Tons a year. I run the stove for about 20 hours a day and clean it daily as the burn plate on my stove is not the best design. I love the low ash and high heat output I get from the LG pellets, there does not seem to be a better combination and the price is quite stable, at least for the last 4 years. I would recommend everyone try at least a few bags to see if they are a good fit.
