Hay Creek Companies continue their support of the environment and now manufacture wood fuel pellets for consumer use. These wood fuel pellets are manufactured by compressing sawdust remnants from the lumber industry, furniture and flooring, and from forestry by-products. The wood materials used to manufacture the pellets are only recycled wood products. Thus, burning these pellets is a carbon-neutral process. All wood pellets manufactured at Hay Creek meet strict ash content, moisture content, heat output, and quality and are classified as Premium Wood Fuel Pellets by the Pellet Fuel Institute.
Hay Creek wood fuel pellets are supplied to our many retailers and can be purchased from those dealers in our network.
Summary
I have never burned these but would love to get a bag in the mail to test them out.

Terrible product
Absolut garbage. Burned 3 ton last year. Was told this was a softwood blend it is clearly not. Spoke to the uncaring mfg. And their claim is its ground up pallets and they don’t know what the ratio of hard to softwood is yet dealers are still selling this crap as mostly softwood. Strong don’t buy!

Never again
I cannot tell anyone to ever buy these pellets. I purchased 3 ton and carried them all on two flights of steps into the basement just to find out that the pellets are too long, and too wide as well as having a kind of sticky consistency. They bridge two to three times per day in my Harman pellet stove hopper. The only way that I can consistently keep my pellet stove burning is if I’m constantly disturbing the pellets so they do not bridge. Pretty tough to keep your home warm when you are gone for the day or sleeping and you can’t disturb the pellets in the hopper to keep them from hanging up. Very frustrated. Going to be a long winter. I am so happy that I am not a dealer of these pellets. That would be terrible. Save yourself the headache, don’t ever buy these!

Very Poor Product, NO BTU's waste of $
bought 3 tons of these pellets. Buyer be ware these are by far the worst pellet i have ever purchased. This is only the 3rd brand i have switched too. but with the other two brands i ran my stove at #3 and it kept my home at 72 with outside temps in teens and twenty’s. With these i have my stove running at #6 and unable to get above 67. Absolutely no Btu’s from these. I did an experiment and bought 4 bags of a previous brand and put them into my stove this past Saturday, went away for the day and left stove run on #6 came home 6 hours later. House was 83 degrees. turned stove down to #3 and by next morning was at 73 then filled stove on Sunday night with 2 bags of these pellets and turned stove up to #5 woke up Monday morning with house was at 60 degrees.
I will never buy these again and i’m letting anyone else that is looking at these to pay a little more and get heat for your dollars. I buy with a bunch of other users and we get these by the semi loads so this is not something that was sitting out somewhere in the weather.
Very unhappy.
