Aug 2017 -one of my favorites and best in the northeast! keep your eyes out for these. The bag is crap but the pellets are the Sh#@<br>
Nov 2017 – OK, the bag is not really that bad. Super awesome this year! highly recommend if you are a fan of the softwoods. These pellets burn super hot and low ash! Very nice, keep up the good work on these. Love the product.

In my experience, only Okanagans are better. La Crete burns nearly as hot as OKies and is as clean as Okanagans.
We used LaCrete pellets for two years and found they were excellent for heat but had a lot of ash. Now considering going back to Turman which is also excellent for heat but has low ash.
I’ve used roughly 3 tons of La Crete the past 2 winters. They are my favorite on extremely cold days and nights. They are the hottest pellet I’ve purchased out of roughly 10 different brands.
The only thing I dislike about them is they seem to have a hard time igniting when my stove is set to temp mode and hasn’t been cleaned in a few days to a week.
best pellets i burned in years, keep up the good work, keep supplying home depot with them
I bought 4 ton in August 2015. Easily the best pellet I’ve burned. No odor or excessive dust that others have mentioned.
I bought three pallets with 60 bags each. Quite disappointed so far. most of the bags I have opened have a lot of raw sawdust as if moisture was in the bag when sealed so I started sifting the pellets before using but my dealer said he would replace any more of the bags with another brand and that’s what I will do. i won’t be buying anymore of this brand. i sent a message about my concern to LaCrete but they never aknowledged me . I’m sure I can purchase a less expensive and cleaner pellet
I used a little over three tons of La Crete pellets this past season (2014-2015). The are very good pellets. I have been burning Vermont Pellets for three previous seasons. Vermont Pellets were sold out early this past year and the dealer suggested La Crete. They are very good pellets but they do have more ash left after burning then the Vermont. For no other reason that the ash is less with the Vermont I am going back to the Vermont Pellets. I think most people would be satisfied with these pellets. The quote I got for pellets this year ((2015-2016) is $295.00 a ton for La Crete and $300.00 a ton for Vermont. If the Vermont Pellets are not as good as they have been in the past, I will start using La Crete. Unfortunately I have found out with most products that once they get a good hold on the market, the quality goes down.
Bought Half Ton this year. No Odor as mentioned in other posts, but way too much sawdust. Burns Hot and Clean but a Lot of very Fine Ash. Filled up my Accentra Insert Ash Pan in a little over three days.
Use them toward the weekend when I clean the stove.
ordered theses at start of season, back ordered so went with ambience instead, wish I waited for them, just went and picked up some, heat is far better than ambience, ash isn’t too bad. these will be my choice next heating season, going to order early, I use a Harman xxv to burn.
La Crete are the best pellets I have used
