The pellets are 100% mixed eastern hardwoods. Roughly 80% oak and the balance hickory, poplar, beech, and maple.
O’Malley Lumber wood pellets are made from 100% hardwood wood fiber; there are no additives or chemicals. Because we use the wood waste created by their own sawmills we can totally control the quality of the product that goes into our pellets – something other manufacturers can’t claim.
The technology they use at our sawmills guarantees that the wood product that goes into our pellets has never come in contact with the ground. While this may seem like a minor point, it allows them to guarantee clean, consistent hardwood pellets that won’t contain any dangerous contaminants like rocks, dirt, and other debris.
These hardwood pellets are some of the best on the market, delivering extremely high BTU’s and a low ash content. O’Malley Pellets work well in all stoves, bringing you a clean and comfy burn. All wood pellets are environmentally friendly and in no way contribute to global warming. So sit back and relax while you burn a bag of O’Malley Wood Pellets.
Summary
I have not burned these pellets for some time and would welcome a bag

O'Malleys gone bad?
BAD – Have been burning O’Malleys for years, my “go to” pellet brand; this last delivery all of the pellet bags had a LOT of fines and the pellets seem “moist”. When pouring into a metal storage container it sounds muffled like they’re full of moisture. Have to run.my QuadrafFire stove setting on 2/5 to keep the fire going. Fire has gone out three nights out of last four towards morning because pellets won’t slide down from feed area. Bad batch?? Ugh…

Virginia and Marylands idiot governors must be in charge of Quality Control at O'Malley Timber Products.
I ran the O’Malley pellets thru my Harman P68, and they didn’t do too bad, that’s why I gave them a 3, and not a zero. I should have walked away when I saw how they were on the pallets. The pallets were split, broken, rotted and doubled up. (you know, cause two shitty pallets are better than one) Every pallet came apart when unloading the trailer, every layer of bags on every pallet had bags with slices in them from their equipment. There was at least a cup of dust(fines) in every bag. I don’t want to hear about how this was “Covid19 related”, that’s buIIshlt. This is piss poor quality control and you know it O’Malley. I will never waste another dime on your product, and I will urge everyone that will listen to me to do the same. I will drive to Pa and bring back one bag at a time of any other brand before I buy your crap again. There is no excuse for their sloppy half-fast junk product.

Don't Buy
Not good…we used O’Malley for years and then in 2018, the product went downhill. Lots of clinkers and clumps. Contacted O’Malley several times with no response. Used Lingnetics and Easy Blaze at the beginning of the season in 2019, both were awesome with no issues. Then couldn’t get them. Heard O’Malley plant burned and rebuilt. Thought we would try again thinking they made their product better. On day 2 of using and have huge clinkers again and not burning all the way through, even after slowing the feed down. Awful! Have 6 ton and don’t want them. Terrible product

Worst pellets ever
Terrible. They burn very fast. Clump up in the pot, causing me to clean my stove constantly. Contacted O’Malley Lumber via email, they never even bothered getting back to me. Never again. Worst pellets I’ve ever purchased.

We’re operating a Brekwell and have used EasyBlaze up until recently. Due to stick, we were forced to buy O’malley however, we heard good things. I will be honest when I say it has been a nightmare. I have to clean the burnpot several times a day because the pellets just do not burn. The ask buildup is insane. With EasyBlaze I was cleaning the stove every other day with no issues. However with O’Malley, I have to clean the stove twice a day to keep it running. We burn through a bag a day and many of the pellets are wasted from not burning. With EasyBlaze I burn a bag every other day. It’s hard to shut a stove down to clean it out twice a day when it’s only 19°F outside. The worst part is, we bought a ton. I’m feeling frustrated and disappointed we spent over $200 on a headache. Was this just a bad year for pellets? It almost seems like the wood is still green.
