I bought my pellets at TSC never saw the Ozark before and took a chance after going on the company webpage. WOW what a mistake these pellets are the dirtiest crap I have ever burned. I have to clean stove every day its as dirty a what I always got in a week. I constantly get the fire-pot completely plugged and then full of unburned pellets. My exhaust pipe needs cleaned all the time, these pellets are at the point of unsafe they burn so dirty.
These are by far the dirtiest burning pellets I have ever used. I was amazed at the size of klinker and angry at the same time when I had to shut the stove down and clean it out again after only 8 hours. I have had better results burning animal bedding pellets.
I bought 2 tons of the Ozark Hardwood pellets at TSC. These are the dirtiest pellets I’ve ever burned. Bag is full of sawdust when you dump in bin and they make a ton of ash. I also end up with huge clinker that blocks the whole pot which then fills with unburned pellets. Never will I buy these again.
Using Golden Fire pellets. Burn fine with not too much ash, but had several bags left over from last season, and the odor of the dry pellets is so bad, we can’t leave any in the hod because of it. Why is this?
This is the worst pellet product I have ever used!! I purchased 4 tons of this product and there is about 25% sawdust/ crumbling material instead of pellets. If I wanted saw dust I would of purchased saw dust!! The company WON’T DO anything about there crappy product. Spread the the word so nobody else gets RIPPED OFF.
I bought 10 bags at TSC at $4.99 a bag, what I read on bag was Ozark All Premium WOOD pellets (hardwood) NOT FRICKEN CORN MIX, I own a Englander pellet stove that’s NOT A MULTI FUEL burner, I’ve found other brand pellet fuel also All hardwood pellet that still has Fricken corn in it too, Not sure where regulation come into play with these products but the BBB needs to take a LQQK at the manufactures of these all PREMIUM hardwood pellets that has multi fuel mixes in them, My problem is stove goes out and clumps up the burn pot, constantly cleaning of stove, corn is not what I burn in my Pot,
Wood like to get 4 to 6 tons of food grade pellets. I believe I got some from y’all 2 yrs ago & really liked them. Have about 800 lbs left Izzie & Moonie’s Smoke BBQ. Price include pricing. Thanks & God bless
normally use somerset with no complaints. feed gate on lowest setting. in a pinch march so bought ton of ozark wood pellets. issues right away with stove not starting(heatilator cab50 , 4th season). not sure they burn hot enough to keep things going. start stove with reset. runs till thermstat happy. wont start automatically after. opened feed gate more. see what happens. if ozark pellets 100% hardwood, why are they green?
My Harman Advance was working properly until i started using Ozark. The length of the pellets, often 1 1/2″ inches long combined with more dust and fill than i had noticed from my previous pellets (North American), was clogging and jamming my feed system. Pellets burn super once you get them in the burn pot.
I’ve burned through about half a ton of Ozark Hardwood Products pellets this season in my Harman PB105 pellet boiler. The pellets are quite dense, and so is the ash they produce. That works well in a Harman, as the bottom feed pushes the ash into the ash pan and very little flies around. In a top-feed stove, it may increase the need for cleaning. The pellets do produce a lot of heat. I’d buy they again.
