Iwould like a price on these pellets.
I have just finished building a brick pizza oven and am using seasoned hardwood. Are your hardwood pellets suitable for use in a brick wood burning oven? Are there any chemicals in them?
What is the moisture content of your pellets?
Are they hardwood, softwood or a mix?
What is the closest location to me for purchase?
Can you send me a sample?

I HAVE A PF100 HARMAN FURNACE & I BURN 9 TON
A YEAR IVE USED PA PELLETS THE LAST THREE YEARS & THEY DO GREAT ONLY HAVE TO CLEAN
FURNACE AFTER TON & 1/2 TO 2 TON & I DON’T
EVEN GET 5 GALLON BUCKET OF ASHES!!!
I burned a ton of PA pellets in my Quadrafire 1000 and am not very pleased. They did not produce much in the line of clinkers but the ash was very fine and built up quickly. Daily cleaning of the firepot is a necessity. Instead of a complete cleanout every few weeks, it had to be done at least every 12 days or so.
I have a USSC 6041 TP. I have been burning Dry Creek all winter, but a local HEP’s had PA Pellets on sale $4.47 a bag, so I bought 10 to try. Initially, they seemed burn well, clean, the glass did not cover with soot. But after less than 48 hours the softness and high ash content became a big issue. The burnpot slowly filled with ash and had several inches around the firebox. I was suprised. With the Drycreek I wouldn’t have that much ash accumulation in a week.
I have struggled to try and burn through these 10 bags. After 7 bags (5 days) the stove safety shut off again because of the excess ash in the auger this time. When I vaccummed the hopper, I found a solid 2 inches of sawdust, where the ‘hardwood blend’ of PA Pellets became very apparent as PINE/CONIFER Blend.
Maybe I was spoiled by my experiences with DryCreek and Lignetics, but PA Pellets will not find themselves into my stove again.
Tried 5 tons this year and am very happy. Consistent burn.
I have been burning PA Pellets along with a few others I have tried. They burn well and produce a nice steady heat. I am still trying different brands but I have had good luck with these. I have also tried a few bags of Instant Heat which did not go over well…but they are cheap. Curran hardwood/softwood blend seems to do well overall and are less expensive per ton that PA Pellets.
Overall I have been happy with the quality of PA Pellets – I have a Lopi Leyden stove…
i sell only pellets that people ask for and I was asked why i didnt have PA Brand Pellets , So i got a load and wished I got them a long time ago, they are a very high BTU Pellet and the cost is very competative with the market that sells pellets , I will be getting them all winter and next yr too

This will be my second year burning pa wood pellets and I have had great luck with them. I love to try different typs, always buying bags here and there and by far pa pellets are the best for the price.
