This years pro pellets.
Have burned at least 4 tons of pro pellets each year since I bought my Harman stove at least 10 to 12 years ago. Have never had any problems with them except that am getting much more ash this year. Used to go around a month before I would have to clean my stove, but so far this year have had to clean about every 2 weeks. I wonder if they changed the wood they use to manufacture pro pellets in 2022. Get about 14 hours, give or take, out of 1 bag.

Still the best
Just a follow up to my 2019 review. I have still been burning Pro Pellets consistently since then, and have not had any of the issues that others have described. I haven’t noticed any difference in quality, heat output, or burn time. They still burn clean and hot, and I still go 2 weeks between firebox cleanings with no plugged burn pot holes, and can still see through the glass. I’m still running the same VG5770 stove, with no problems.
Compared to a couple other brands I burned which have a rough finish, these pellets are compressed to the point that they are smooth and shiny. They slide down the hopper more easily. Carrying the bags feels more “sloshy” compared to the others. I suspect they are compressed more tightly, to get more heat for the size.
When these pellets were getting harder to find, I contacted the company. They gave me a listing of local dealers. I also wrote them a positive review based on my experiences, and suggested they not change a thing. They asked me where I was buying them, and since then I have had no issues finding them at the local Family Farm and Home or Tractor Supply.

Pro Pellets are the BEST brand I have ever used.
Have tried half dozen different brands over the past 8 years and Pro Pellets remain the best burning with lowest ash that I have ever used. However, one ton I purchased from local Ludington Michigan Tractor Supply had 14 of the total 50 bags had frozen pellets …. which means they got wet in the store’s parking lot and then froze. Fortunately, the store took them back and refunded my money per bag. I will continue to use Pro Pellet brand and buy from Ludington Tractor Supply.

Be careful they completely clogged my chimney !
I no longer can burn these pellets ! I would not recommend them . 20 plus years using pellets ! They completely clogged my chimney shut, do not burn clean . I am no longer able to control the heat because they burn excessively hot.

Astounding
We purchased a Harman P61 in October. After 10 yrs of wood stoves and with getting older we thought it was time to change. We Purchased 3 ton of Pellets from Tractor supply, great store. By now Jan 22 I figured I would have gone thru at least 90-95 bags by now. we have a 1700 sq ft house. As of today I have used 52 bags of Pro Pellets. Thank you

something has changed in the process
I typical buy 3 tons each heating seasons of pro pellets. i have a Piazzetta pellet stove, i have had so many problems this year with the inconsistant pellet size, 2″ to 1/2″ in size, crust building in fire pot, so having to clean 2 times per day in order to keep it let to operate for 8 hours, cleaning glass for build up of black soot ever 8 hours as well, the dust is unusual this year. pellets are glossary than normal looking, Plus side of them is the heat. verified lot numbers and they were all the same, bought a couple of a different brand pellets, none of the issues happened, heat wasn’t as well though. Something changed from last year to this year, the 3 tons were purchased before Covid.

Pro pellets = Clinkers!!
These used to be the best in the market &now they are the worst! We can’t even keep our stove burning for 8 hours. Something changed, now er have huge clinkers with every burn, very disappointing & frustrating, we bought a ton of a horrible product that used to be the best on the market… most everyone in southwest michigan is having the same issue & nothing can be done about it. I hope they correct the change in the future.

Fantastic pellets, quality and good heat
I have a Harmon XXV, that we have used for 8 years. The first pellets were Pro-Pellets, I have tried several other brands a ton at a time and always went back to Pro-Pellets. I burn 5 to 6 ton per year, I LIKE HEAT! The only problem I had was DUST early on, in 2019 and 2020 the bags(pellets) were very clean. The factory making them has done a Fantastic job on separating the dust from the pellets. Very good heat, only a bag of ash after the heating season. (I spread it on my lawn) I brag about Pro-Pellets to everyone that ask me which brand I use,I live in PA and we have several Mfg’s close to me. I still Love Pro-Pellets.
