I use Harman pellet stove, we have used these pellets for a number of years with no problems, however this year we got our 3 tons as usual. When received one of the pallets had been forked during loading. Home Depot replaced 10 bags without a problem. During the season we lost at least 20 more bags do to holes at the top crimp site and wet pellets.. 20 out of 150 is totally crazy and expensive. Never again for Stove Chow!!!
If you like shutting down the stove at least once a day to empty the ash pot – this is the brand for you. More ash than any other brand I’ve ever used. So glad that ton is gone.
I have had my england. Model 25-PDVC/55 pellet stove for 3 yrs. I bought it used and have always used Marth brand. This yr they got to expensive at $5.50 a bag. I was browsing at home depot for some supplies and came across stove chow, grabbed a few bags on sale for 3.74 a bag. Just WOW!! THE HIGHEST HEAT RATING over other pellets. Its -9 outside and my 1,100 sq ft home is at 72*. Low ash too.The trick is in fine tuning the buttons the factory said NOT to touch. I’m dialed in at 3-3-1 and its Supurb! Thanks for an amazing and affordable product #stove chow. Michigan ✌
I use an Avalon pellet stove and this year I bought a ton of Stove chow.IO was a little leary about using them, I usually use Pro Pellets, but I tried a bag or two before and they seemed to work pretty well. I have used a variety of pellets and these meet or exceed all of the other pellets I have used at a reasonable cost. My stove glass stays clean and the ash content is minimal. I will continue to use them from now on,I’m glad I gave them a shot.

Is white wood hard wood or soft wood?
