Tractor Supply sells wood pellets. The last wood pellets that I have seen there were the great Maine Woods.

After four winters I have burned four tons of Hammer Hots, One ton of Stove Chow, 1 ton of Wood Pellet Company (somerset PA) and six tons of Tractor Supply which are all premium hardwood pellets and have come to the conclusion – have a quality wood pellet stove (I have Harmon) – keep it clean and in good shape, keep the pellets dry while in storage and make sure the pellets you burn are meeting the National Residential Pellet Fuel Standards ( the bag will be marked) and you will not have any problems. I buy Tractor Supply Pellets as the store is close to my house so I can haul them myself, I can put my order on layaway during the summer per ton and save some money, and have the convenience of payments. Last year I had an issue with water as we had record setting rains. But I checked them as I unload them as soon as I get them. They replaced a half of ton, no questions asked. I’ll continue to buy them.
their pellets burn dirty and have a stink when you go out of your house, I reported this to the company and they totally ignored me. save your money, I will not be buying any more.
Kozi Previa The Tractor Supply brand pellets burn dirty with Heavy Clumped Ash in the fire pot and heavy door glass build up I cleaned the stove after ONE Bag. Typically I clean after 3 or 4 bags of Lignetics. I will use my 5 bags by mixing 1/2 bag of Tractor Supply with 1 bag of Lignetics. Home Depot & Lowes pellets are better. I give the Tractor Supply Pellets a ONE Star rating. J Scott , NY Upstate
Burning them this winter. So far, so good. Burn hot with very low ash. Only negative is that the bags contain an awful lot of dust. Not a big deal, but it does make for a dusty clean up after a few bags. Keep your hand vac ready to clean top of stove.
I burned them last year, they burned hot and alot of ash .
Tractor Supply Hardwood Pellets, Great pellet, Hot!!! Accentra Stove
I’m in the Northeast and have a Harmon Accentra insert, which I clean after every ton. I usually buy whatever Tractor Supply has because it’s close to me and the stove burns darn near anything w/o any problems.
Back on topic, this year is the first I’ve seen Tractor Supply Pellets (in Tractor Supply bags). I was skeptical, but they’re burning GREAT. Smokey ignition, but a nice hot fire with very little fouling. I’ll be buying more.
My reference points are Hamer (great), TreeCycle (dirty), Lignetics (okay), Keystone (okay).
