I bought an Envirofire insert pellet stove in 1993 and it went with my house when I sole it in 2022.The stove was the best thing I ever bought and only had to change out the blower and auger motors once. The stove saved me more than once due to VA ice storms with power out for weeks. I wish you would bring back the old style stoves so I could get another one. Thanks again for building such a great stove. The dealer I bought it from also cleaned it every year and he told me it was the cleanest and beat looking stove he serviced. Thanks Chris Hall in VA

I have a EF2 pellet stove for over 5 years now. I think they’re great. If you do a regular cleaning every couple of days and at the end of the year, do a thorough cleaning, they last and work great.
My only complaint is the pellum or squirrel cage in the blower motor are made of a plastic compound. 2 have broken so far,but the first one was under warranty yet, and the second one I took to a local repair shop and got it replaced with a metal one. Only $32.00 versus $249.00. And all the ef2 manufacturer does is replaces the old plastic pellum with a new one and resell it as new, because the second one that broke on me was only about 3months old.

I have had this Pellet Stove for 13 years. The only trouble I have is when I can’t get quality pellets. It won’t ignite cheapo pellets. I use only Fir top quality pellets now. While it is true that it’s a real pain to clean this out every year,(You have to completely dismantle the insides) if you use quality pellets, there’s no creosote or much ash at all. A whole season of 2 tons of pellets produces only 1 full ashpan each year. I swear by this for a small place(1100 sq ft.) Parts are expensive. I have replaced the conbustion Blower($200) and the convection blower( another 200) All due to using cheapo pellets.
I have or had the enviro ef2 pellet stove for 3 or 4 years. It was difficult & tediuos work to do yearly cleaning on it. The repair tech told me that these pellet stoves are difficult to clean, and if not maintained the motors would blow out. He could repair mine, but told me due to the rust inside the stove, and rusted hardware he could not perform a thorough cleaning. He told me the motor would eventually break again. He recommended purchasing a new stove. Which I did today. I purchased a Harmon p43.
