The Upland 207 Pellet Stove is available in five porcelain enameled colors: Black, Red, Green, Almond, and Taupe. The Upland’s natural draft and bottom feed system produces the most attractive fire view in the industry. The large glass-ceramic window in the polished, nickel plated door stays remarkably clean. The Upland cast-iron body efficiently radiates a comfortable heat without the need for noisy, air drying convection fans. A small, quiet computer type fan draws out the heat from the back of the stove. The top is large enough to hold a steamer, crock of cider, or even pot of soup. A
75 lb. capacity hopper allows the stove to run for up to three days unattended.

Outside air that is mandated by virtually all other pellet stoves is available but not required. (Patents Pending) One does not need to cut a 2″ or 3″ diameter hole in the floor and outside wall for the combustion air tubing.
This makes the Upland 207 Pellet Stove “plug and play” when replacing an old wood or coal stove. Place the Upland where you old stove sat, connect the pellet vent to your existing chimney, plug it in and you are ready to go!
The downside to some, it requires a chimney. The chimney should clear the roof and meet standard wood stove standards except for the allowed use of 4 in. pellet vent pipe. Pellet vent is considerably less expensive than an all fuel chimney as required for a wood or coal stove.
This type of installation eliminates many of the potential problems found in the installations that only vent out a side wall. More importantly, the natural draft slows the flow of gases through the firebox yielding better combustion and a nicer fire view.

I have had this stove for 5 winters…had my first issue with this week….the auger motor gave up….bought a replacement and had it up and running in about an hour. I contacted Peter Albertsen …emailed him and he gave me the information I needed…I was surprised he still responses to questions about his stove…since Breckwell took over the stove and sells… the original Upland stoves are the best around…Breckwell made some changes and had some issues with them. My motor I replaced was nearly 5 years old…!
Upland 207 Pellet Stove evolves into the United States Stove Company’s SPC-50 Pellet Stove. USSC has retained most of the positive attributes of the Upland 207 Pellet Stove in this model purchased from NU-TEC Incorporated.
The SPC-50 (Upland 207 Pellet Stove) is the ideal replacement for an existing wood stove or coal stove.
I have an upland 207 wood burning stove. Can I burn coal in it?
This stove is great! If you like a wood stove you’ll love this stove. It looks and feels like a wood stove without the too hot too cold cycles you always have with a wood stove. I liked it so much I bought a second stove for my folks and installed it in their living room. They sit there all the time watching the flame. My Dad loves the fact that the oil furnace has not come on this year. We have been near zero here in NH and the stove has been great.

Have used continually about 2 months.Does the job. very quiet, looks fantastic, being used or not. Uses about a bag a day, of course depending on the heat setting. I’m new to pellet stoves, have used several different brands & types of wood stoves. most of which kept our various homes too hot. I have to remember with a pellet stove, more pellets–more heat–& of course more expense. Too much work to get, cut, split ,stack, clean stovepipe regularly for a wood stove. Propane is way too expensive in mountain area. Pellet seems to be answer. Peter (pellet stove owner-distributer) knows his stuff & helps quickly with any questions or problems (mainly due to lack of my pellet stove experience).I wanted top pipe flue to install in existing stove location, & it looks like it will take less daily & weekly care. I looked at many pellet stoves for over 3 years before deciding on this one. Arrived intact, very heavy cast iron. It looks like if anything breaks will be easy to fix myself. I don’t want to pay $150 service calls & wait for parts. I just hope Peter stays around for a while to keep this stove in production & keep parts available. I won’t knock other brands, but this stove seems to be a keeper!!!
I have two of these stoves (Upland 207) and use them as the primary heat source for my 2500 living space in the cold and windy Finger Lakes Region of New York State.
This is my second year and they are great. Beautiful stoves, easy to install and maintain. The best customer support ever!
Right now Dry Creek is my pellet of choice to burn!
