Can someone please advise the original cost of A-Maize-ing Heat Boiler LDJ 991-10 Number AH-628827? Thank you very much.
I just installed a 165,000btu forced air unit and I’m having trouble with wood pellets plugging up in the bin auger. Is the tube too small? How do I upgrade? Other than that, I like it so far. The best as I can tell, most parts are easy to locate locally or through granger. Is their a power vent option and where would I purchase?
A-Maize-Ing Heat Corn boiler for sale in New Prague, MN with hopper, auger and 250 bushel grain bin. All for 1000.00. See ad on craigslist-just need to simplify life due to aging
I’ve had it for 14years I’ve had issues and I love it This year Iam also heating the shop 130 feet from the house . trial and error has got it pretty well maintenance-free now Come a long way over the 14years ..
We have a corn burner with metal 10 bu bin. We came home this afternoon and the furnace was on high heat and would not shut off. We turned the thermostat to off and it continued to feed corn. We turned everything off but upon restart it continues to operate on high heat. What is my issue?
I’ve used the boiler variable speed for several years now.I’ve found what works best is burning half and half corn and pellets. No issues with smoke backing up or the tube gumming up from too much glue I suspect in the pellets when you do this. The most common issue I have is I have to replace the auger timer every two or three years. You can get them through Grainger.
