I was not in the market for pellets but when I saw Lowe’s was selling a ton for $199 plus my 10% military discount and free delivery, I could not pass them up. I bought 4 ton not even asking what manufacturer they were. They delivered Natures Own. I only have burned one bag so far and I like them. I have been burning Fireside Ultra because that is what Home Depot sells. The pellet size this year on them was tiny but they burned fine. The Nature’s Own pellet size is larger. Pellets vary from year to year, even the same brand. I burn about 8 ton a season. But this season only 3 so far due to warm weather. I have 2 pellet stoves, and Enviro Mini 30k btu that I burn 24/7 and a Vista Flame 70k btu that I only light up when it is in the single digits.
This was a really good pellet in my stove. Nice heat and very low ash. I would definitely buy again. St Croix York pellet stove insert
