Orford 100% Hardwood are the absolute worst pellets I’ve ever burned, ordered 6 tons of Barefoot to split with a neighbor and at the last minute the supplier said he ran out and suggested these as being just as good. Horrible! I’ve never seen ash cake like this build up in the burn pot EVERY day, cleaned it out last night and 24 hours later there is 2 inches of cake, Do Not Buy!!!!!
I bought these pellets on a special buy and boy do I regret it! I was burning green supreme before which burned well but, I decided to try so soft wood pellets what a mistake. I’ve been cleaning my stove alot! Pot over fulling glass gets black quick what a hassle. Never again! I dont recommended these pellets.
I burned these they have a nice flame but put off very little heat in cold temps not to mention they turn the glass black within a few hours, I do not recommend these pellets!
I feel that orford pellets are not burning as hot at the inferno pellets i used for the last 2 seasone. I have a Harmon insert and love it. Just find these orford pellets to not produce as much heat. Lesser ash but not as much heat. I clean my stove every seven days.
The ash hangs in the feeder area for along time. I am trying the stove on room temp high to see if that makes a difference
