Comfy Cozy Wood Pellets
100% Softwood – Premium Canadian Fuel
Comfy Cozy Wood Pellets are manufactured by Marwood Ltd. in New Brunswick, Canada using exclusively softwood sawdust and their own controlled wood fiber supply. These pellets are designed for high-performance home heating with low ash and strong heat output.
Typical performance: Heating value around 8,500 BTUs per pound, moisture content under 8%, ash content under 1%, and fines less than 0.55%. They are bagged in 40-lb units and aimed at homeowners seeking cleaner burn, reliable performance and minimal stove maintenance.
Availability: Comfy Cozy pellets are distributed in parts of the Northeastern U.S. and Atlantic Canada through select dealers and hearth-fuel retailers. Because they’re premium softwood fuel, local supply may be limited—check bag date, storage condition and verify you’re getting a current-season production run.
Status note: The brand remains listed and known in pellet-stove circles for its strong specs. However, recent forum feedback reports some batch variation in pellet size, moisture exposure and bag condition—so it’s wise to test a bag early in the season before buying in bulk.
Bottom line: If your pellet stove runs best on softwood fuel and you’re looking for one of the cleaner, hotter options available—Comfy Cozy Wood Pellets are a strong choice—just ensure you’re sourcing fresh stock and verifying local availability before committing.

Quality pellets
These pellets work great. Trouble free burning unlike some of the cheaper brands. They all claim to be premimum and this brand truly is.

no luck
Went through 3 auger motors and 3 bearings this season. Last repair lasted 2 weeks. Auger keeps clogging with these pellets. Looks like they are breaking along the horizontal and this may be why they jam. Stove works good until it jams and then gear teeth break and the stove goes down. I have been burning pellets for 15 years from Shaw,
groupe Savoie and walmart – these this season are the worst!

Too much dust
At the first of the winter, the pellets were great. But the last two lots have been disappointing. There was so much dust and fines that there are lots of sparks and twice the auger became totally clogged. First time I called repair person. Second time I saved myself the service call and fixed it myself. Not cool.
