Cheap but junk.
Terrible, Terrible Terrible, and my harmon burns anything and can go for days. Crabby Gunked up the burn pot in 8 hours full of clunkers. Never again

I have been using these pellets in my Harman Pellet boiler for years and they work fine, I get a good hot fire with them and they DO NOT clog the auger nor the burn pot, I am wondering if you are just using a low-end or a high-end type of pellet stove, that could make all the difference. My boiler keeps my house at 73-75 in the dead of winter with no problem, it’s summer all year long at my house.

Absolutely Terrible Pellets
Jim W, I bought your stove this Summer and I took your advice and got a pallet of Crabbe pellets. The people at Phillips feed said they are great and can also be used for horse bedding. They should only be used for horse bedding. These pellets are terrible as compared to any other pellets. Within 18 hours of burning you burn pot will be full of ash and clinkers. I have even upgraded the burn pot to high ash and it only helped a little bit. After 18 hours the stove will overflow the burn pot. I burned two bags of Eastern Embers the other day and they burn with no problems at all. Crabbe should change their name to clinkers. Pure Garbage

Crabbe pellets are great!!!
I have burned pellets for at least 15 years, many brands many suppliers. I just read Chris’s review of Crabbe pellets. I have used them for at least 5 years and have had no problems. Not once has it clogged my auger,, they burn clean and are not overly dusty. I get them from Phillips Feed in Charlottetown and they have the best delivery in town.

Horrible
Pellet stoves are great but Crabbie pellets are garbage. Bought 150 bags for the season because they are cheap. These pellets clog you auger and they just dont burn well.
If someone were a new user to pellet heating they would want to through their stove away after using these.
Some huger retailers got rid og these. I tried different brands of pellets and it does make a huge differance. All brands I tried worked well except for these.
I would suggest that no one use these pellets. In the long run these pellets will cost the average consumer much more than any other form of heating including electric. Crabbie pellets are hard on your stove and in my opinion should not be allowed to be sold to consumers. I would like to see the Better Business Bureau look into them.
In conclusion I can not possibly say enough bad things about these pellets.
