I purchased 2 ton of your soft wood/pine pellets this year from Schmidt Farms in Auburn and am very disappointed with them. The bags have a great deal of saw dust in them and has caused my wood pellet stove to shut off numerous times due to the build up of saw dust. I can honestly say that I will not purchase them again if your process doesn’t correct this issue and will also tell other people about my issue with them if asked. I will also let Schmidt Farms know about this issue since he listens to his customers and their comments on the items he sells.
I just bought two bags of these to try before buying a ton.
I only ran them for a day and a half or so, but they did not burn as hot as some others that I have purchased. That being said, the bags were some of the larger(more volume) that I have seen. I could run these on a higher setting and still get the same amount of burn time per bag.
They did not fill my burn pot with crusties, and the ash level seems low.
I’m going to try some others before buying my first couple of tons, but these are the top contender at the moment. The only others I have tried so far this year are Propellets (YUCK)
Isabella pellet is great! I burned hardwood for years and now I will not go back. This pellet is very clean, little ash, hot burn same clean pellet every bag. I love it and will be a loyal customer…

Here in Ontario Canada they are being sold for $279.50 per ton and they are softwood. I have not tried them yet.
