I have a Lopi Pioneer for four years and it requires too much maintenance when installed with a vertical vent that extends over ten feet.
It is installed in a small room 14X14 ft where it provides adequate heat. It needs to be thoroughly cleaned three times a week regardless of the kind of pellet I have used. The pellets that have formed the least amount of ash that I have tried are Inferno made in Rhode Island
Just installed a 2008 Lopi Leyden PS and have a question about the fan noise. Is there any way to muffle the sound? It seems louder than I would think this would be.
