There not low ash for sure. We had to empty the ash pan after only burning half a ton. There not very hot burning at all. Not very happy with these at all. Will never buy this brand again.
i got a ton of these from RK (159.00 A TON) and they are just as good if not better that other pellets that i’ve paid upto 300.00 a ton. as far as im concerned these are good pellets at an affordable price !!!
THANKS RURAL KING ST. CLAIRSVILLE OHIO !!!
Worst pellet I have ever used! Went through a whole ton of these in no time! Had to clean stove every day or it woul error out! Ran Stove Chow for last couple years and they were ” ok”! American Wood Fibers premium White Pine is what I’m using now and they are awesome! Home Depot lost my business! They wouldn’t even try to order me any Stove Chow!
They don’t burn as hot as “Hammer Hot ones” they also put off a lot of ash compared to others
These are garbage. The worst of the worst. I run a Harman P61-A stove and I thought it could burn anything. Well, after 7 winters, and 26 tons of pellets, it finally met its match. Every 3-4 days, it throws an error and I got to do a full cleaning on the stove. Usually I don’t have to touch it for a whole ton other then scrape the burn pot. There’s so much build up in the burn pot from these things I’m scraping out tinted windows. I bought these at rural king for 159 a ton saving roughly 60$ at ton from my usual purchase. Wow, did I learn a lesson.
For a cheap pellet I really like the thermaglows. They give Hot heat, but there are some fines and pellets range in sizes.
If your stove does good with stove chows, these are very comparable. I’m happy with them, we’re nice and toasty!!
