I own king hard wood only stove. I wish companies would label if they selling hard wood or soft pellets. softwood just jams the auger…I normally get my pellets from gildale farms. that only reason I won’t buy trebio pellets again…

I have a Harman P38 pellet stove. I have tried Can Wick from Canadian Tire, a New Brunswick brand from Kent B Supplies and Eastern Embers from Nova Scotia. Now trying Trebio from Wal Mart. Will offer an opinion later as first bag is in the hopper now. For central NL, Trebio are the best price.

I have an Enviro Windsor FS stove and have tried various fuel settings this year and damper settings but to no avail in order to try and get efficient heat versus ash and clinker buildup, but with not much success. I wouldn’t rate Trebio brand this year at all. I haven’t had any positive results with burning this brand in my stove this year. Seemingly the product had somehow changed since last year as it seemed better quality last year compared to this year. I’m going to switch to another brand particularly hardwood pellets as it seems I’ve found a manufacturer which has a better product.
