As well as writing for a living, I help Mrs T. run our spare room as a Bed & Breakfast. Loch Lomond is a very popular tourist destination at any time of year, and it’s especially beautiful in the autumn. It can, however, get quite cold, and we are definitely now into pellet-burning territory.
As you’ll know if you’ve been following this blog, the stove has been in use on and off for a month or more by now; however, over the last couple of weeks it has been permanently on the timer. This is mostly due to the weather, but also because when B&B guests arrive, especially if they have been out walking all day, they are looking for a warm room to relax in and often somewhere to dry their boots. The snug, where our Lucrezia Idro stove sits, makes a great drying room.
