No More Dry Creek for me!
Not only are the bags split at the seams due to poor set up of the bag sealer, but I can echo all of the negative comments I’ve read. They smell like a freshly cut spruce tree. Pine pitch. Carbon in the burn pot and heavy ash and dirty window. Sticky inner walls – all dictate pellet quality issues. My Harman is a quality unit since 2003 when we installed it. I’ve had a few brands that were not great but Dry Creek was always dependable….WAS???

The quality of Dry Creek wood pellets bottomed out, it's been the worst season ever.
What happened to the quality of dry Creek wood pellets for The burning season of 2020 /2021?, I’ve been burning Dry Creek wood pellets for 5 years and this is my last season using them.I normally go through 2 ton or more per burning season. This year has been the worst with the amount of Ash and build up in the firebox. I had this problem with the last 15 bags I picked up from last season and I contacted Dry Creek and they gave me the runaround so I ignored it and forgot about it, and I had two tons delivered this season, I have to clean my firebox every morning before I go to work so I know the stove won’t shut off during the day because or the build up with unburnt pellets and Ash, I tried adjusting the air many times and nothing helps.

Not the same
I’ve used these for 4 years running now and I’ve been extremely happy until this year. I don’t know what’s up with these pellets for this heating season, but the burn pot gets built up with so much caked on carbon around the auger that the auger starts banging and popping every time it runs. I have to turn the stove off and scrape it down literally every day.

Very disappointed
I’ve been using Dry Creek for about 5 years now. I’ve never known anything else but this years stock seems to be horrendous. I have to empty my ash every four days and the heating quality is very poor this year. Also, the burn pot clogs up with carbon deposits every easily. Would love to have other options here in Central NY. If you know of any, please email me.

Junk pellets
Been using my pellet stove for 20 years so I know my equipment very well the dry creek pellets are absolutely the worst I’ve ever used ! The whole inside of my stove is always black burn pot clogged constantly will never buy again !
