   Burned these pellets for the last 7 years with little to no issues , bought 100 bags for this winter and had to clean burn pot every other day due to clinkers in the burn pot , had stove pipe and stove cleaned thinking the stove was the issue,this is the first year with this particular issue , appears quality control is not there.

   • Good heat when they burn good

   Cons

   • Have to clean durn pot every second day and the waste of pellets due to a no light , kind of like throwing money out the window

   I’ve always had good results from these Eastern ambers wood pellets. But this year 2026 I found they have not burned well. They are leaving a lot of substance blocking the holes in the tray. Have to clean the stove at least once a day if not twice a day. The heat is not there the quality that used to be. There is not there this year not very happy with this. I also gotten in contact where I purchased my stove five years ago about this issue. They stated that several people have a complained this year and that it is the wood pellets. Very poor quality this year probably will not buy them again.

   • Doesn’t burn hot as canawick and also leaves a medal like substance in my ash pot, not 100% wood, your pays for the weight of the medal,!

   We have been using Eastern Embers pellets since buying our stove 5 yrs ago with no problem till this year. We bought 10 bags to finish off the winter, we bought from Home Depot which we usually buy from Home Hardware. The quality was TERRIBLE. They burned very fast leaving a lot of ash in the burn pot, they produced a heavy blue smoke while burning and smelled like burning cardboard. We have decided to rethink our purchase for next year.

   $5.98/bag @ homedepot…lots of fines though and not alot of heat from the Harman P61
