  1. The AWP pellets are the worst pellets to have. Does not catch on fire easily.. even if I were to put any accelerate on them to catch..they do not. Don’t know what kind of processes they use to bind them..but it doesn’t catch.. it leaves clumps in the burner, which we have to constantly remove..and if not…we get a back burn..and have to shut it down..and go through the whole process of trying to get them burning again!!
I’m switching to a better quality pellets..
And staying away from the AWP pellets!!

  2. I have been using these pellets for 2 yrs now and would not us any others. I have not had any problems at all with them drawing dampness but i keep mine in a dry place when i bring them home and i also get mine from a local store who keeps them in a dry place also. They burn hotter than other pellets i had tried before them and i have a lot less ash.
I believe that Lowes will store their overstock out doors and these bags are not water and air tight so it is best to buy from a store who keeps them in a dry location.
