Summary
Nov: 2017 – These pellets absolutely did burn super hot. They seemed to be super dense with not much fines. I want to say that these are a southern yellow pine pellet. I could not find much info on online except to find out what the deal is. I had to clear out the burnpot in the morning but the heat was was nice! great pellet overall .

BY FAR THE WORST PELLETS THAT CAN BE BOUGHT
By far, some of the worst pellets that I’ve had the mistake of purchasing. Pieces of wood shavings/slivers mixed with the pellets. Pellets fall apart leaving a sawdust residue in the hopper before even being augered to the burn pot. Normally run at a 1 or 2 setting with other pellets. But with “Freedom Fuel” pellets I have to run at a steady setting of 4 to even gain a good amount of heat. AVOID THIS BRAND BY ALL MEANS. Be better off spending a little bit more and buying quality pellets.

DREADFUL, SHOCKING PELLETS - AVOID AT ALL COSTS!
These pellets have actual chunks of wood and non-pellet material. The chunks block augurs and break gears and electric motors. I’ve also found plastic embedded in the pellets. They smell bad. I’ve used various brands for 15 years. “Freedom Fuel” is by far the lowest quality of any brand I’ve encountered. I hand sifted a single bag and have a picture to show the amount of non-pelletized wood chunks and slivers next to the bag they came from, but don’t see a way to upload it here. If you could see it, you would avoid these pellets.

Terrible
With these pellets I can’t even burn a whole bag without cleaning it out. It will clump up and fire goes out within 6 hours. Worst pellets I have tried by far and labeled super premium
