Hamer’s Hot Ones Wood Pellets are made from clean hardwood sawdust sourced exclusively from Appalachian oak. They’re manufactured with tight quality control to deliver high heat output and very low ash levels.

Typical specs: approximately 8,500 BTUs per pound and around 0.49% ash for recent runs. These are bagged in 40-lb units and aimed at homeowners who prioritize premium performance and clean operation.

Availability: Distributed through regional dealers in the Mid-Atlantic and Northeast U.S., the brand may be stocked through specialty pellet suppliers rather than every big-box retailer. Because of its premium nature, checking bag date and batch freshness is recommended.

Status note: Hamer’s Hot Ones remains in production and is recognized in the pellet industry as a higher-end hardwood fuel. That said, because premium hardwood stocks can be more limited and price higher, availability may vary season to season.

      Nov 2017 – Love these pellets. Super dense and hot pellets. Low ash with an amazing hardwood floor smell. Super nice! Keep up the good work guys! Love your product

        Hands down a great pellet, in the 9 yrs that I have my pellet stove ( Harmon) I tried different brand of pellets and Hamers Hot ones are the best I used , and I will continue using them. My glass stays clean , no clinkers , no jams in my auger, they do burn very hot my house has electric heating which I do not use at all I only burn the pellet stove .

        There awesome m, I switched from Matra cause Matra has way too much sawdust in each bag enough sawdust to clog the auger , I am so glad I switch to Hamers hot ones the smell of oak , very low on ash , and yes they do burn very hot , keep up the awesome work Hamer’ Hot Ones!! I am so impressed using these pellets that I kick myself in the ass i should have started using Hamer’s Hot ones a long time ago!!

        They are a awesome pellet , I tried several different brand of pellets over the years , and Hamer’s Hot Ones are my #1 choice they burn very hot and low ash , the glass on my stove stays clean , no clinkers at all , I highly recommend this pellet .

        My last review on Hamers was in 2022 , they are excellent and burn very hot , keep up the good work Hamers , they should also make smaller bags ..

        Best pellets I have used in 30 years. I’ve used about everything out there from several different brands of pellets, cherry pits to corn and beyond.
