Geneva Wood Pellets

Geneva Wood Pellets

100% Hardwood – Premium Northeast Fuel

Geneva Wood Pellets are manufactured in Strong, Maine and made entirely from hardwood logs that are debarked, chipped and dried to deliver high-density, low-ash fuel ideal for pellet stoves. They’re distributed throughout the Northeast and into states where homeowners demand clean burning, steady heat pellets.

Typical specs: recent runs list ash content around ~0.50% and heat output around ~8,100 BTUs per pound (as received). These pellets are bagged in 40-lb units and aimed at homeowners who want a higher-grade hardwood pellet option without stepping into ultra-high-end custom fuels.

Availability: Geneva pellets are available through regional dealers and distributors in New England and surrounding regions. Because of their hardwood-only structure, supply may be more limited than standard blends, so it’s wise to check stock and bag date before buying by the ton.

Status note: The brand has been acquired by a larger pellet-manufacturer and continues to appear in the market. While early batch quality earned high marks, some recent user feedback mentions increased variation in burn performance and ash—so test early and check freshness.

Bottom line: If you’re heating in the Northeast and want a hardwood-only pellet made by a dedicated producer with strong specs, Geneva Wood Pellets are a very good choice—just ensure you’re getting a fresh bag and that your local dealer has a good supply.
