Henry County Wood Pellets
100% Hardwood – Premium U.S. Pellet Fuel
Henry County Wood Pellets are produced in Tennessee using kiln-dried hardwood sawdust from dense species like oak and hickory. Known for their consistency, these pellets deliver strong heat output, low ash, and an even burn that makes them a reliable choice for pellet stove owners across the Southeast and Mid-Atlantic regions.
Typical performance: Henry County’s pellets regularly test at under 0.2% ash and provide heat levels around 8,500 BTU per pound. The pellets are tightly compressed and uniform in size, resulting in smooth feeding, cleaner burns, and less frequent maintenance compared to lower-grade hardwood blends.
Availability: Henry County pellets are distributed regionally throughout Tennessee and neighboring states, often found through independent dealers and hearth suppliers. Always check the bag date and ensure you’re purchasing fresh-season stock for the best performance.
Status note: The brand continues to earn praise for its build quality, heat output, and minimal residue. While occasional batch variation can occur—as with most hardwood fuels—the overall quality and burn consistency place Henry County among the best regional hardwood pellet options available.
Bottom line: If your stove runs best on hardwood and you’re after a clean-burning, high-BTU pellet made in the U.S., Henry County Wood Pellets are a dependable choice that delivers real warmth and performance all winter long.

Henry County Wood Pellets Review
★★★★★ 5/5 Stars
Henry County Wood Pellets are one of those hidden gems that remind you why good hardwood fuel is hard to beat. These pellets are dense, consistent, and burn incredibly hot — easily holding their own against any of the big national brands. I’ve been consistently impressed with the steady flame, minimal ash, and the overall quality of the burn. They light fast, produce great radiant heat, and leave the glass remarkably clean.
Each bag I’ve run through has been uniform with very little dust or fines, which tells me their production line is tight and well managed. The ash level is impressively low for a hardwood pellet, and I’ve gone multiple days without having to scrape the burn pot. Whether you’re heating a smaller stove or a larger insert, these pellets put out reliable, even heat that keeps the home warm and comfortable.
Bottom line: Henry County Wood Pellets are a fantastic hardwood option for anyone who values performance and consistency. They burn hot, clean, and last long — exactly what you want when winter really sets in. Easily a 5-star pellet in my book, and one I’ll keep coming back to year after year.

Worst pellets we have ever used. Have been burning wood pellets 10 yrs and these have a tremendous amount of ash. Had to clean fire pot twice a day.
