I bought the Heritage Hearthstone pellet stove in 2012. The stove runs well The issues are with getting parts. There lack of customer service is appalling. The heritage is my primary heat source. Everytime i order parts it is 3 to 6 weeks. Just pray you home doesn’t freeze due to lax a dazy Hearthsone
WE HAVE OWNED A HEARTHSTONE HERITAGE 8090 PELLET STOVE FOR FOUR YEARS. WE HAVE HAD NOTHING BUT TROUBLE FROM THE DAY ONE. THIS MACHINE IS. UNRELIABLE AND VERY LABOR INTENSIVE AND POORLY ENGINEERED. THERE ARE MANY PRODUCTS ON THE MARKET THAT ARE LESS EXPENSIVE AND MORE RELIABLE AND MORE EFFICIENT.
I recently purchased a Hearthstone Heritage Pellet Stove (Oct. 2013) and have had nothing but problems! Door lid sensor said door was open when not, replaced sensor, Auger motor quit working, replaced the motor, worst of all the stove will go out and says no pellets when the hopper if full, haven’t found a cure for that yet. In my opinion the stove is over priced and under engineered. I will say that the dealer has been great in trying to get these problems resolved.
what you are experiencing is lack of draft from ur chimney…you will need to extend your chimney to increase draft.
