I wrote a review and you’re going to the prove it he changed my words don’t post it then I don’t like something that I’m speaking to truth about to be altered by people that have no idea what we’ve been going through Don’t change my review for better because frankly the pellet stove wasn’t worth the money
I’ve had to replace the heating element every year it’s something this year I have a recent code of 17 and we’re finding it’s getting more difficult to find someone to work on it You spend 4 grand for something and It’s crap the lovers the poles you used to pull up and down to clean those heating tubes the 1 broke a year after we bought it there is a metal lip in front of the pellet stove on the top there well let go on that The board had have been replaced twice if he had it pad had to be replaced It’s been a nightmare every year and now we have a code for reset every year we go to turn it on something’s always wrong with it And it’s getting ridiculous and he eats really well but
Let me jump on the band wagon, I purchased my Hearthstone Pellet stove four years ago from a home owner who purchased it new. My issues are with the burn pot, the igniter and the door hinge (broke off). I can deal with cleaning it but parts are faulty or don’t last long, they are extremely expensive and I have to wait months (seriously, like a whole heating season long) for them to come in. I am bailing out on this junk and the company has lost my business.
I apologize. I forgot to mention the new reason for my review. It is that the board flashes AAAAA turns fan on high says stop, standby ignites and may run for a tiny bit. I called the company directly told them what it was doing. The gentleman said if it is still working don’t worry about it. OH better yet He said if you need a board they come from Australia or some place far away. This was Great for an employee from Hearthstone company to make that comment. Plus anyone who serviced Hearthstone in the last 4-5 years does not service them. To get someone to repair the unit it is over 40 miles. IF YOU DECIDE TO PURCHASE A HEARTHSTONE MAKE SURE THEY SERVICE THE UNIT.
we bought a heritage hearthstone pellet stove in 2015. We have had nothing but problems. The board has been replace twice maybe three times because I need to call for service. The first time is when we got the stove they replaced. Next it was 2017. When we replaced the smoke pipe is what the call it. They serviced the unit. But They could not fix the rake rod that Keeps the dust build up off the heat Exchanger tubes. The Lip at the top of the unit inside the door on the right side let go. The people we purchased the unit from also services them said it could not be fix. I WOULD SUGGEST YOU TO DO NOT PURCHASE A HERITAGE HEARTHSTONE. THEY ARE A PIECE CRAP!!!!!!
I bought the Heritage Hearthstone pellet stove in 2012. The stove runs well The issues are with getting parts. There lack of customer service is appalling. The heritage is my primary heat source. Everytime i order parts it is 3 to 6 weeks. Just pray you home doesn’t freeze due to lax a dazy Hearthsone
WE HAVE OWNED A HEARTHSTONE HERITAGE 8090 PELLET STOVE FOR FOUR YEARS. WE HAVE HAD NOTHING BUT TROUBLE FROM THE DAY ONE. THIS MACHINE IS. UNRELIABLE AND VERY LABOR INTENSIVE AND POORLY ENGINEERED. THERE ARE MANY PRODUCTS ON THE MARKET THAT ARE LESS EXPENSIVE AND MORE RELIABLE AND MORE EFFICIENT.
I recently purchased a Hearthstone Heritage Pellet Stove (Oct. 2013) and have had nothing but problems! Door lid sensor said door was open when not, replaced sensor, Auger motor quit working, replaced the motor, worst of all the stove will go out and says no pellets when the hopper if full, haven’t found a cure for that yet. In my opinion the stove is over priced and under engineered. I will say that the dealer has been great in trying to get these problems resolved.
what you are experiencing is lack of draft from ur chimney…you will need to extend your chimney to increase draft.
I HAVE A HEARTHSTONE HERITAGE.LOVE THE STOVE KEEPS A NICE FIRE WITH EVEN HEAT.BUT I CAN NOT GET THE STOVE PIPE ANY HOTTER THAN 200 DEGRES WITH THE PRIMARY AIR CONTROL OPEN ALL THE WAY. IF I OPEN DOOR THE TEMP WILL RISE.I HAVE GOOD DRAFT AND MY WOOD IS BEACH AND ASH SEASONED.THE DRAFT CONTOLL DOSE NOT SEEM TO BE OPEN OR WORK RIGHT FROM DAY NOE.
