High Heat Wood Pellets are made from 100% responsibly and sustainably harvested softwood from the Mountain Pine Beetle epidemic. In the future, we’ll utilize trees that are part of the forest management thinning programs, which will help us maintain healthier balance in our forests.
High Heat Wood Pellets undergo stringent quality assurance testing. We use the Twin Ports Testing (TPT) fuels analysis laboratory in Duluth, MN to test our wood pellets. TPT has been active in testing pellet fuel since the inception of the industry in the 1980s. TPT is a participating independent testing lab that adheres to PFI’s wood pellet standards. Because of their outstanding reputation, we also use TPT to test emissions at our state-of-the-art wood pellet mills.
