Logik-e Wood Pellets

Logik-e  Hardwood Review   |   Logik-e Softwood Review

100% Hardwood – Super Premium Fuel

Logik-e Wood Pellets are manufactured from kiln-dried hardwood sawdust and residuals — species like maple, oak, hickory and walnut — without bark or recycled softwood content. The result is a dense pellet built for strong heat, low ash and consistent performance.

Typical performance: Recent test results list ash content around 0.24-0.30% and heating values of roughly 8,400 BTU per pound (dry basis). Because the feed-stock is premium hardwood and moisture is tightly controlled, these pellets deliver a clean burn and extended run time.

Availability: These pellets are distributed via select pellet‐fuel dealers and regional hearth/wood‐fuel retailers across parts of the U.S., especially the Northeast. Since they’re high-end hardwood only, availability may be more limited and bag date or season run should be verified before buying large quantities.

Status note: Logik-e remains listed as a premium hardwood pellet brand. That said, some users report batch variation in ash or burn‐pot build-up in older production lots—so testing a few bags early in the season is recommended.

Bottom line: If your pellet stove is tuned for hardwood fuel and you’re looking for one of the cleaner, hotter options available, Logik-e Wood Pellets are a strong choice—just check bag date, storage condition and verify current-season run before making a large purchase.

      Review of Logik-e Wood Pellets

2019 – just got 2 bags to test out.  1 hardwood and 1 softwood bag of pellets.  Stay tuned

I have always love these pellets and look forward to my bag every year.  It has been harder to find them over here in NH as of the past few years, but if you can score these, they are fantastic and prices very well.  No brainer pellet to stock up on for the whole winters burn.  You will not be disappointed.

Oct 2017 – WOW. These pellets are awesome! Super hot burn and almost no ash. I love the hardwoods and I was really looking forward to burning the softwoods and was pleasantly surprised how awesome they are!

      1. recently had to return three tons of these pellets, they were contaminated with plastic so bad so bad what a total hassle!!!

      2. I have a Harman p61. The Logics are producing a lot more ash than I remember. The burn pot was full after 6 hours after scraping and cleaning. Was burning Lg before the switch and they are no where near as ashy. Pricey pellet with a Super Premium tag. Not so super.

      3. I have a harman p68. Burned a whole ton.Very good pellet low ash. would buy again.

      4. this pellet sucks the worst DO NOT BUY thank god I only got 10 bags have to clean the stove daily do your self a favor Truman all the way

      5. Used 5 bags of Logik-e this past week. Decent pellet for a hardwood. Not much dust in the bag but did produce a lot of ash and soot in the pot and firebox. Not outrageous amounts but it was a bit much for the premium price you pay for these pellets. The heat was adequate for a hardwood. I would use again but would not be my go to pellet. I have a Quad CB 1200 that is very clean.
