We burned 3 ton of these last year, we bought them in advance so had no choice but to use them, the smell of these pellets are sickening! Me and my husband both developed the worst allergy’s from these last year, I don’t know what they are using beside’s wood in these but something is not right, we just bought 3 ton of a different brand this year but had 2 bags of these left, I burned these last week and the same allergy symptoms from last year started coming back, if you smell the inside of the bag after emptying it is just horrid, also when the stove is running alot in the dead of winter these form a rock like ball in the pot, I will never use these again, not good quality.
Bad product do not waste your money! Thay do not produce heat and make so much ash I had to clean my stove evrey day. I was talking to a guy in the area that works at a saw mill in the area he told me the stuff thay get from them to make pellets with is all bark and gravel thay scrap up in the yard of the mill. The remaining bags I bought I am putting on the ice in my drive way for traction
Worst pellets i’ve ever bought. They don’t burn very well.I’ll never buy them again.
Using a new england stove, they burn clean, but heat output is low. Not impressed.
Bought 34 bags last week from TS. $239 per ton. They are very light-colored pellet. They seem to burn pretty clean and with Decent heat. I’m burning them in a Quadra fire Castile stove.
