Review of Curran Blended Wood Pellets

Great pellets! even though the ash is a little high due to the hardwood mix (read my softwood review), the heat is awesome and the the ash is super light and fluffy so no big deal. Just get an ash vac and you will be super happy with these pellets. The heat output from these far out way the fluffy light ash.

the worst pellets i,ve used in 10yrs. don,t burn hot, clump up terrible, have to empty ash pan after 1/2 ton lots of ash,made a mess out of my pellet stove WON,T BUY AGAIN

I am using these pellets for the fifth year in a Harman p-68 stove. During a heating season I empty the ash container roughly once a month. At the same time I clean the burn pot and anything else I can get to. The burn pot has the usual amount of burned matter stuck to it but it removes easily. So far I am happy with the performance of the pellets and the stove. I use the blended pellets as that is what my dealer stocks but would try the hardwood and softwood pellets to see what the difference would be.
