These pellets seem to burn ok but they really STINK
Whitfield stove, usually use Lignetic pellets, dealer was out so I purchased Pinnacle pellets. Very disappointed, poor heat quality, Auger jammed up after a few bags, had to disassemble feed and clean out sawdust. I expected better from a Canadian product, won’t use these again, threw the rest of them out.
After trying a few products (Canawick, LaCrete, and the worst being Woody) these are the best wood pellets I have used in my CAB50. I would recommend
They are the worst pellets I have ever used. The Fir pellets are supposed to be top quality and burn hotter. Well I can tell you I have bought a pallet and can’t return them. They are hard to start and will not stay alight. I have burnt these pellets before and had the same problems. I thought by now they would have resolved any problems over the years but they have gotten worse. I know how to clean out my stove and do it every 6 months, stripping right down and cleaning it right out. Don’t give me the gears. Theses pellets are sub standard and must have lots of non combustible filler. I will never buy these again.
