  1. Powerhouse pellets are No good. I use a Harman Advance pellet stove which I take apart and clean regularly Powerhouse pellets smoke up my glass and produce a lot of ash. I wish I read the reviews first before I purchased 3 ton, I like Green Team, no smoked glass and Very little ash. burns very hot. I have to turn down the auger setting because very hot and efficient. I bought 3 ton and hope they are the same quality as last year. I hope this helps u decide what to buy.

  2. I have a stove for 5 years and have used Lowe’s for four however I tried Powerhouse this year, BIG MISTAKE they fill up the grate with ash and the stove shuts down I have adjusted the damper and still doesn’t work right. I wil NEVER buy these again Lowe’s Green team Supreme are ALOT better.though they cost more.

  3. I am new to the pellet community. My home was all electric and thought pellets was the way to go. In a cost comparision I believe I made a great choice however my choice in Pellets was lacking. I purchased 3 tons of Powerhouse simply because it was 200 a ton. After recently having to purchase another ton and decided to go to lowes I now learned there is a massive difference in quality. I was cleaning my stove every 3 days with powerhouse and noe I am cleaning once a week. Not to mention the pellets burn much better. I will not purchase powerhouse again and would not recommend them either

  4. I’ve used a pellet stove for 15 years now. These pellets are garbage. By far the most ash of any I have ever burned. Spend a few more dollars.

  5. I wish I would’ve seen this forum before I bought these pellets and now I too am stuck with a ton of garbage. I have tried adjusting the damper consistently and the burn pot keeps caking up.
My advice steer clear from these pellets they are by far the worst ones I’ve purchased.
