Lignetics Pres-to-Logs
Hardwood/Softwood Blend – Premium Bagged Pellet Fuel
Lignetics Pres-to-Logs are crafted from recycled sawmill residues under strict manufacturing controls. Designed to provide strong heating performance while helping to minimize ash and dust build-up, they’re a solid choice for residential pellet stoves.
These pellets are bagged in standard 40-lb units and marketed toward homeowners wanting a higher-quality fuel option. Recent production specs indicate a heating value typically above 8,000 BTU per pound and ash content under 1% in good runs.
Availability: Pres-to-Logs are distributed via regional dealers and some big-box retailers in the U.S., especially in areas where Lignetics maintains supply lines. Because of regional production differences and seasonal demand, check for current‐season bag date and well-stored inventory before purchasing by the ton.
Status note: The brand remains listed and recognized among pellet stove users. User forums note generally strong performance in earlier seasons, though as with any fuel brand, batch variation happens—inspect bags for compression, dust/fines and storage condition before buying large quantities.
Bottom line: If you’re looking for a bagged pellet fuel option that balances value and quality with decent heat output and manageable ash, Lignetics Pres-to-Logs are a worthy contender—just verify that you’re getting a fresh run and good local supply.

Absolute crap. These “premium” pellets had a lower heat output than any other brand I’ve ever bought. Ash.. so. much. ash.. I’ve had to clean my stove COMPLETELY after every half ton. Not recommended.. I wish there was a way to give NEGATIVE stars. Bought at Lowes in Mt Olive, NJ.
I have used several types of pellet s this year.I finally tried presto pellet s.,wish I would of tried them first..really happy about the heat and the low ash. I will not use any thing else also burns very clean.just a better burn all the way around.
I had very good luck burning these in my stove. They burned very hot and clean. I wish that I bought more because they are unavailable now. My stove is a Breckwell I24 . I have had my stove for 10 years and I have burned about 50 different brands of pellets. This stove has been completely reliable.
Pres-to wood pellet is NOT high BTU. We bought three bags because our usual brands weren’t available, only to have to run our stove on medium instead of low, and STILL NOT HEATING ROOM, adequately. GARBAGE, waste of money, completely let down. Purchased at Lowes in Kent, WA.
First time using the Presto-Log pellets. Am not pleased. They ashed up my stove so bad that it decreased my heat output. I burned 2 bags and had to completely clean my stove. Even at the beginning they had a low heat level. My stove is not an older cheap model and I keep it in great shape. Pellets are really poor quality.
