Pennington Pellet Fuel
100% Kiln-Dried Hardwood – Premium Heating Fuel
Pennington Pellet Fuel is made from 100% kiln-dried hardwood sawdust, carefully processed to provide efficient, clean-burning heat with minimal ash. Engineered for residential pellet stoves, this fuel delivers reliable performance and value for homeowners seeking a dependable heating option.
Typical performance: These pellets offer strong heat output, low moisture content and less than 1% ash in good runs—making them a practical choice for everyday use across different stove setups.
Availability: Pennington pellets are widely available in 40-lb bags through national retailers and farm-supply outlets. Because they’re positioned as a premium standard pellet, they are a convenient choice for bag-buy customers looking for trusted performance.
Status note: The brand remains active and well-recognized in the pellet market as a hardwood-only, clean-burn option. While performance is solid overall, as with any bagged fuel, checking bag date, storage condition and batch freshness will help ensure optimal results.
Bottom line: If your pellet stove performs well on hardwood fuel and you want a heating pellet that combines quality, availability and value under one name, Pennington Pellet Fuel is a strong contender worth considering.

Worst pellets I have ever bought. Bag states “Very low ash” — nothing but garbage in these pellets

Waste of $1600
We have had a pellet stove in our basement for 15 yrs and our basement has always been warm & toasty. I am very disappointed in these pellets. Our basement is freezing & very uncomfortable. I can stand 6” in front of the stove and not hardly feel any heat from it. Will not be purchasing pennington pellets again

Home use
The only 2 issues with the Pennington pellets is #1. They have a extreme Dust when poured into hopper! Have to wipe down & vacuum area frequently!
2. The bags tear easily when handling. Get small holes when loading & unloaded! Have to keep a roll of tape handy when transporting!
