Rocky Canyon Wood Pellets
100% Red Fir – Premium Softwood Fuel
Rocky Canyon Wood Pellets are made by a family-owned mill in Grangeville, Idaho that uses only kiln-dried red fir to produce a uniform, dense pellet with exceptional burn characteristics. Because they use pure red fir and no fillers, these pellets are built to deliver strong heat, longer burn time and fewer ash residues.
Typical specs indicate ash content under 1% and a burn time that outpaces many standard softwood pellets. Availability: Primarily in western U.S. states such as Idaho, Montana, Washington and Colorado, though pallet delivery may reach broader regions depending on retailer. The brand appears active and listed with real-world retail availability today.
Bottom line: If your stove is compatible with softwood pellets and you’re looking for a high-end fuel made from a premium species (red fir), Rocky Canyon is a solid choice—just be sure to check local stock and delivery logistics in your area.

A+ hate having to use other pellets when I can’t purchase rocky canyon. These pellets start easy, burn clean, produce great heat and minimal ash. Others I’ve tried are fails in comparison. My only complaint would be availability. All local retailers in my area are always sold out. ( because everyone wants them) I don’t use a lot but don’t like to burn anything else.

Bummed
Awesome burning pellet, however this year at least 97% of the bags were not sealed properly. Almost every bag broke open when stacked and/or lifted. I have bought these for over 10 years and have raved about them, however next year I will purchase another brand (Lignectics) due to the waste. Super bummed!!

These are the best heating pellets I have ever used. They don’t cake up in the burn pot and burn hotter than others that I’ve tried.

great pellets
i found the pellets to be clean and not as dusty as others, not any dirt or bark mixed in the pellets, only problem is they sold out in Feb, before I could get my third pallet
can you buy them at the factory?

Too long, dusty, wood shavings mixed in
We bought a pallet. The pellets are too large and you scan hear the auger cutting and grinding them. Lots of wood shavings in each bag, and lots of dust in the bags. But does burn hot. Not sure what to try next as not impressed.
