Satisfaction Wood Pellets
100% Softwood – High Heat, Low Ash Fuel
Satisfaction Wood Pellets are made by LG Granules (Quebec) and marketed under the “Satisfaction” name in the northeastern U.S. Their product uses clean softwood species (black spruce and grey pine) and is designed for consistent performance with minimal messy build-up.
Typical specs seen: around 8,300 BTUs per pound (or higher) and ash levels in the ~0.5%-0.6% range. These pellets often show up in 40-lb bags and are stocked by specialty dealers and co-ops in New England and nearby states.
Availability note: The brand appears to still be active—but distribution may be limited depending on the state. Before committing, it’s a good idea to check local dealers for the current season’s run.
Bottom line: If you’re after a softwood pellet with strong heat output and manageable ash in the northeastern region, Satisfaction is a solid option—just verify local stock and bag date to ensure you’re getting the latest batch.

We have bought these pellets for our 2 stoves for at least 6 years. This year, we had 3 skids delivered to us and found 108 bags were wet and decomposing . Now as we use the ones we started to burn, some are also infiltrated by water.
We were compensated but greatly disappointed as bringing the bags in and stored is a big job.
Please check your bags before opening. Otherwise, these pellets have a good quality/price advantage.
