UJ Softwood Pellets
Uncle Jeds softwood pellets are never consistent because of the process used to unload rail cars of several different species of pellets. Earth Sense charges a premium and you get what you pay for, the value is definitely not there and management is to pompous to listen to the customer, Very disappointed!

Used to be great, now not so much.
I’ve been burning these for many years and the last two years the quality has gone downhill. These used to be the best pellets on the market in my area by far. Low ash, clean burning, and hot; not so anymore!
They don’t burn as clean and now have quite a bit more ash. I used to be able to burn a whole skid before dumping my ash pan and now I can’t burn half a skid. I’ve also had to deep clean my stove more frequently.
There’s also a lot more fines in the bag as well. I’ve had to clean out the feeding mechanism in the bottom of my hopper twice per ton where in previous years I would only have to do it after a few tons.
I’m very disappointed and will be using a different brand going forward.

Marth wood pellets
Has anyone used Marth wood pellets? We used them and had so much buildup it started a fire in the pipe! Do not recommend . Has anyone had this issue?

Not as good as it used to be
Used to love fhis product. Last 2yrs has been garbage. Looks like every bag is mixed pellets. Doesnt give off heat as it used to, and after a day my stove glass is black and full of ash. Not at all the quality product it was 5 yrs ago when i started using it. Has a lovely price increase for low quality product. Have switched to better brand…

Used to be a good value
I have been using these pellets for over five years and really liked them. This year the quality is not as good as it has been in the past years, a lot of fines and very small pieces of pellets in the bags. They put out good heat and an average amount of ash. Also they are getting pricey at $265.00 per ton. I will be testing cheaper alternatives.
